Senior iOS Engineer

Our consumer and enterprise facing mobile applications interact with our neurostimulation devices and are essential in not only providing a control center for our hardware but also for measuring cognitive ability and transferring data to and from our devices. We're looking for a senior iOS Engineer to take ownership our codebase for our flagship product and design, architect and implement our upcoming new products in a lead role as we grow our mobile team.


  • 4+ years of industry software engineering experience
  • 2+ years experience shipping one or more iOS apps
  • Well versed in Swift and Apple's core libraries
  • Familiar with Core Bluetooth / BLE
  • Familiar with functional reactive programming
  • Experience working with RESTful server-side APIs
  • Enjoys working in a small team and can see a project to completion with minimal help and intervention

Embedded Systems Engineer

A high-reliability, real-time embedded system lies at the heart of Halo's smart wearable neurostimulator. We're looking for a great embedded engineer to develop the core embedded technology of even newer products. In this hands-on role, you'll assume responsibility for Halo's firmware and functional testing. You'll also use your creativity and scientific approach to attack system-wide questions from electrode selection to designing test equipment for clinical research.

Experience with medical devices, real-time systems, and/or testing is a plus. You'll work directly with the CTO and hardware team to design and manufacture amazing products.


  • Bachelor’s or higher in CS, computer engineering, EE, or BME
  • 2+ years of experience developing / testing embedded systems
  • Comfortable with low-level C or assembly
  • Experience with custom boards and high-reliability, realtime, or power-constrained systems a plus
  • Appetite for hands-on troubleshooting and solving new problems
  • Experience with BT / BLE, audio, RF, compliance a plus
  • Ability to prototype electromechanical systems (in collaboration with our hardware team) desirable

Research Associate

At Halo, data is king. We believe that our products are only as good as the research we have supporting them. Now, we're looking for a Research Associate to join the Halo team in creating a world-class neuromodulation system. You'll work closely with the CEO and CTO to bring the product to life and have real ownership over your work. Senior Accountant

We are seeking a hands-on senior accountant responsible for all accounting functions. This position will report directly to the CEO and have significant touch points throughout the organization.


  • Preparation of all financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
  • Facilitate "closing" of financial records on a monthly basis and in a timely manner
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts to report timely and accurate financial data
  • Ability to perform various accounting functions: payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting
  • Track inventory including manufacturing product costs and some percentage of completion calculations
  • Handle all Human Resource duties including processing bi-weekly payroll
  • Implementation of health insurance and retirement plans
  • Confer with executive management team to coordinate and prioritize planning and budgets
  • Develops accounting policies to comply with management reporting requirements
  • Assist in compliance with Federal, multi-state and international tax requirements
  • Assume responsibility for accounting classifications of all expenditures
  • Establish formal internal control policies and procedures including electronic filing system

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business and/or accounting
